Junior loved to hunt, golf, bowl, and going to his grandchildren's ballgames and dance recitals. His grandchildren were the loves of his life.
Born March 1st, 1947, he was the son of the late Charles C. Craig and Goldie Martin Craig. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Arneda Mae Craig and Norma Jean Siders; a nephew, David Craig of Columbus, Ohio; and a special cousin, Paul Alvin Whittington.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, who lived every moment of her life dedicated to him, Nancy Dearien Craig; a son, Todd (Samantha) Craig of Scott Depot; daughters, Cathy (Billy) Lacy of Alum Creek, Tammy (Tim) Casto of Buffalo, and September (Phil) Harrison of St. Albans; brothers, Homer C. Craig of Buffalo, Donald R. Craig of Columbus, Ohio, Ronald M. Craig of Red House, and Ronnie W. Craig of St. Albans; a sister, Dixie M. Tucker of Buffalo; grandchildren, Hunter Ryan Craig, Brooke Leandra Lacy, Jada Danielle Craig, Sidney Dawn Harrison, Heather Danae Lacy, Tara Ann Craig, and Shayla Lynn Harrison; and a special niece, Robin Craig.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. McCormick, Dr. Gray, and Dr. Dave for their outstanding care and support.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at Raynes Funeral Home in Buffalo with Pastor Mike Hanna officiating. Entombment will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens in Cross Lanes, with full military graveside honors. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2010, at the funeral home.
