James A. Bell died at his home here Sunday afternoon after a long illness. Mr. Bell was born in Rusk, Texas but for the past two years had been a resident of Richmond. At the time of his death he was retired from business life. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. J. A. Bell; 4 daughter: Mrs. O E. Wendeborn of Rusk, Mrs. W. C. Selman of Ruck, Mrs. C. I. Duncan of Hobby, and Miss Billy Bell of Richmond; 5 sons, James Reagan Bell of Otey, William Forrest Bell of Houston, and John Alton, Wyatt and Lloyd Bell of Richmond.
