COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Tilda Bowman, 83, of Cookeville will be held Friday, April 9, at Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today, April 8, from 5-9 p.m. and Friday, April 9, after 10 a.m.

Mrs. Bowman died April 7, 2004, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Born Jan. 14, 1921, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Bailey and Mary Dow Ramsey Anderson.

She was a retired seamstress at Wilsons Sporting Goods and a member of Holiday Church of Christ.

Her family includes a son and daughter-in-law, James Glenn and Sandy Bowman of Louisville, Ky.; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Deuel White of Cookeville; grandchildren and spouses, Kenny and Kathy Bowman, Mike and Sharon Bowman, Bill and Maranda Kinney, Amanda Bowman and Angie and Derek Crawford; and great-grandchildren, Stacie Crawford and Tristan, Micaijah, Korey and Makenzie Bowman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vollie Bowman, and four sisters.

Pallbearers will be Derek Crawford, Kenny, Mike, Korey Bowman, Bill Kinney and Larry Brown.

Bro. Denton Ramsey will officiate the services.
