Alfred B. Aamodt, 85, Bagley, died Thursday, August 8 at Clearwater County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Monday at Calvary Bible Church, Bagley, with the Rev. John Heath officiating. Burial was at Bagley City Cemetery with Cease Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Alfred was born March 2, 1900 at Halstad, the son of Gabriel and Severina Aamodt. He married Emma Aanenson on November 26, 1929 at Ada. The couple moved to Bagley later that same year, where he worked as a logger and carpenter.
He is survived by four sons, Allen and Robert, both of Bagley, Bernard of Mayville, Oregon, Clifford of Hines, Oregon; two daughters, Avis Marianiello of Bagley, Betty (Mrs. Derald) Moen of Brookings, Oregon; 15 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a sister, Sena (Mrs. John) Strauss of Hazel Park, Michigan; a brother Ludvig Aamodt of Mountain Iron.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters and two brothers.
