ROBERT J. HOWELL

Robert J. Howell, about 65 years old, a widely known and respected resident of Elizabeth township, died at his home this morning at 6 o'clock, following a lingering illness from a complication of ailments. He survived his wife who passed away five years ago and his oldest con, Earl, who died 19 days later. He resided practically all of his life in this vicinity and for a number of years was a member of the Atlantic Avenue United Presbyterian church, in this city. He is survived by seven children: J. Wylie Howell, of Columbus, O.; Glenn W. Howell, of Elizabeth township; Mrs. Helen W. Pflumm, of Dravosburg; Mrs. Marguerite Armstrong and Mrs. Martha Caswell, of Niles, O.; and John C. Howell, at home; and by 15 grandchildren. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his home, near the old Brown No. 3 engine house and the ridge road leading to Mt. Vernon, in charge of the Rev. J. F. Heckert, of St. John's English Lutheran church, this city. Interment will be at Mt. Vernon cemetery.

Funeral services for Robert J. Howell, aged about 65 years, who died at his home in Elizabeth township yesterday morning will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his home, near the old Brown No. 3 engine house and the ridge road leading to Mt. Vernon, in charge of Rev. J. F. Heckert, pastor of St. John's English Lutheran church, McKeesport. Interment will be at Mt. Vernon cemetery.
