Albert Wayne Ahlquist (1929-1991) was born to Walter C. Ahlquist and Etta M. Ferguson Ahlquist on May 4, 1929, in Jacksonville, seat of Morgan County, Illinois. During the Korean War of June 1950 to March 1953, Albert Wayne Ahlquist served as an AG 2 in the U. S. Navy from June 21, 1951 to June 17, 1955. The next day, on June 18, 1955, in tbe state of Maryland, Albert Wayne Alquist wed Marie Bernadette Langlois (Ahlquist, 1929-2018), who had been born on September 15, 1929 in Normandy, France, to Jean-Paul Langlois and Aimee (Russell) Langlois. Together Albert Wayne Ahlquist and Marie Bernadette Langlois Ahlquist raised four children: (1) Deborah L. Ahlquist Westerman, (2) Robert S. Ahlquist, (3) Christopher A. Ahlquist, and (4) Teresa M. Ahlquist Araujo. Albert Wayne Ahlquist completed four years of a college education and earned a living as a purchasing manager in the construction industry. Albert Wayne Ahlquist died at the age of sixty-two on December 8, 1991, in Good Samaritan Hospital at Cincinnati, seat of Hamilton County, Ohio, and was interred there on December 12, 1991, at Greenwood Cemetery in Section 19, Lot 79, Grave 02.
