A housewife of Buffalo Valley Mrs. Williams died Friday in a Carthage hospital following an extended illness. Buiral was in Crest Lawn Cemetery.
A native of DeKalb County, she was the daughter of the late Jim Maxwell and Jane Pritchitt. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Williams is survived by four sons, Fred, Lee and Cordell Williams of Buffalo Valley and J. W. Williams of Akron, OH; three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Russell and Mrs. Artie Gambrell of Buffalo Valley and Mrs. Lou Norrod of Cookeville; two brothers, Osborn Maxwell of Buffalo Valley and Jimmy Maxwell of Baxter; one sister, Mrs. Mary Huddleston of Silver Point; 39 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren.
