John was born about 1824 in Ewing Twp., old Hunterdon (now Mercer) Co., NJ, the son of Anthony C. Cook and Sarah Grant. He married Elizabeth Monroe Dunlap.

Fisher, Lawnton avenue, Oak Lane. Interment private. Trains leave Terminal Station at 11.02 A. M."
