Stephen F. Adelman, 54, resident of Yamhill for 20 years, died January 30 at McMinnville. Born June 30, 1883, in Hungary, he moved to Yamhill in 1927.
In 1915 he was married to Josephine Hartman of Portland who survives him. Other survivors include two daughters, Frances Barrett of Yamhill, Margaret McCaughan of Carmel, Calif.; a brother, Frank of Gervais; two sisters, Katherine Prantle, Gervais and Anna Thaise of Dallas.
The funeral was held Monday at the St. John's church in Yamhill. Father Deis conducted the service and burial was in the Gervais Catholic cemetery."
