Sister of Eunice Reed, wife of Sylvester Robinson of Birmingham and Homewood, Alabama.
Married "Vester" Jan. 6, 1915 in Marion, AL at age 21.
Mother of Charles Edward Ashmore and Sarah Christine Ashmore Breeding (photo on left).
She was an outstanding Southern cook and an accomplished seamstress, sewing on a White foot treadle sewing machine her entire life. Her biscuits were so light they floated off the plate. We named them angel biscuits. Her fresh peach deep dish cobbler was to die for.
