David Logan Warlick, the son of David E. Warlick and Rachel Seitz, married Margaret "Maggie" Ann Cansler about 1868. In the 1870 Catawba Co. census they had one child, David, 1 year old. In the 1880 Catawba Co., NC census, David was widowed and had three children, David H., Mary E., and Willie A. Warlick(a son). After Maggie's death in 1878, David Logan married Martha Bradburn Dec. 19, 1880 in Catawba Co., NC.

Finger amputated. Returned to private duty prior to September 1, 1863. Captured at Rappahannock Station, Virginia, November7, 1863. Confined at Point Lookout, Mary-
land, November 11, 1863. Paroled at Point Lookout on March 16, 1864. Received at
City Point, Virginia, March 16, 1864, for exchange. Returned to duty prior to September
1, 1864. Reported present throught February 28, 1865. Surrendered at Appomattox
Court House, Virginia, April 9, 1865.
