Mrs. Effie E. Flannery, 89, 206 E. Henry St., died Sunday in Randolph County Hospital, Winchester, after an extended illness. A native of Ava, Missouri, she had lived in Farmland the past two years. She was the widow of Tillman Flannery, who died in 1976. She attended the Church of God.
Surviving are two sons, Glenn, Farmland, and Elwood, Albany; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Roche, Utica, Mich., and Mrs. Eugene Ruiz, Farmland; 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildlren.
Services will be at the Rohrdan Funeral Home, Wheeling Chapel, at 10 a.m. Thursday. Friends may call at the funeral home 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and prior to services Thursday. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory. Rev. Carl Stone will officiate.
