"GOULDSBORO---Mrs. Florence E Guptill, 85, widow of Ira Guptill, died Thursday morning at an Ellsworth nursing home following a long illness. She was the daughter of William H & Hannah (Perry) Ramsdell. She was a member of Cushman Grange of Gouldsboro; the state and national Grange; Pythian Sisters of Prospect Harbor; the Ladies Auxiliary of the Maine Rural Letter Carriers Association and the S.O.S. Club.
She is survived by one son, Raymond H Young of Southwest Harbor; one sister, Mrs. Mildred Worcester of Columbia; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Warren Funeral Home in Milbridge with Rev. Harry P Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in the Gouldsboro Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2-4 p.m."
