Orlie Langworthy 1924-2002

Orlie W. Langworthy, 78, of Bagley, died Saturday, March 30, 2002 at the Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook.
He was born March 9, 1924 at Dodge Center, Minnesota, the son of Charlie and Sarah (Bromley) Langworthy. He moved to Clearwater County with his family in 1932. They lived in Shevlin Township where Orlie attended District 22 school. In 1946 they moved to Holst Township. In 1960 Orlie moved to Bagley and worked for Frank Beaver's Garage for 11 years. He moved to Popple Township in 1965 and continue working at the Beaver farm.
Orlie was a farmer and machinist. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and repairing motors.
Orlie never married.
Survivors include two sisters, Nettie Knutson of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Neva (Donald) Appel of St. Hilaire, Minnesota; one brother, Henry (Jean) of South St. Paul, Minnesota; 14 nieces and nephews; and many grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 2 at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley. Interment was at the Bagley City Cemetery.
