Mr. Harry W. Baugher, 81, of Lantz, widower of Iva Brown Baugher, died Tuesday morning, Aug. 5, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Audrey Purcell of Lantz.
Born in Frederick County, he was the son of the late Samuel and Rhoda Fox Baugher. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church at Sabillasville and served in the Army in World War I.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Audrey Purcell and Mrs. Bertha Rowe, both of Lantz; three sisters, Mrs. Virgie Ott, Emmitsburg; Mrs. Florence Stevens, Frederick, and Mrs. Ada Creek, Gaithersburg; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Creager Funeral Home, Thurmont, Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 7, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Revs. Raymond Kingsborough and Ralph Hawbaker officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery, Thurmont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Blue Ridge Ambulance Fund.
