A heart attack claimed the life of the Rev. George W. Bailor, 82, of Converse. He died Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist hospital in Indianapolis.

Last rites will be held at the Converse Methodist church Saturday morning at 10:30. Burial will be in the cemetery at Geetingsville, on state road 26 east of Rossville.

A retired Methodist preacher of the North Indiana conference, the Rev. Mr. Bailor had also been a school teacher and at one time was principal of the Mulberry school. Born near Mulberry, he attended the Mulberry school, and graduated from DePauw university in 1900.

Survivors are the widow, Lela Bailor, of Converse; a son, Charles Bailor of Little Rock, Ark.; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Franklin of Kokomo; one brother, Wilbur Bailor of Spokane, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Lydia Buck of Tuttle, N. Dak.; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
