Dwight K. McFarlane, 86, retired truck driver and machinist, died Monday, March 4, 2002. Service 10 a.m. Saturday, Smith Mortuary; graveside service 12 p.m. Saturday, Halstead (Kan.) Cemetery.
Survivors: son, Ken of Georgetown, Texas; daughters, Sharon Burke of Gainsville, Ga., Sharlot VanDeest opf Haysville; step-sons, Jim Burkey of Santa Barbara, Calif., Don Burkey of Beloit, Bob Burkey of Hawaii; brother, Andrew McFarlane of San Leandro, Calif.; sister Ada Lehman of Halstead; five grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
