Margaret F. Nunn

Margaret F. Nunn, 89, of Bidwell, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at the home of her grandson.

She was born on July 24, 1916, in Clifton, W.Va., daughter of the late Thurman and Florence Young.

Margaret was married to Charles Nunn and he preceded her in death on October 19, 1978. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Middleport.

In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her daughters, Margaret Parsley and Rita Radford; grandson, Clarence McDaniels, Jr.; sisters, Katheryn Johnson, Francis Johnson, Belva Roush and Bessie Ingles.

She is survived by her children from a previous marriage to the late Clarence Smith: a daughter, Ada McHaffie of Middleport; three sons, Clarence (Pat) Smith of Tennessee, Leland (Kolita) Smith of Oklahoma, Thurman (Betty) Smith of New Haven, W.Va.; as well as, two sons-in-law, Hubert Parsley of Columbus and Phil Radford of Pomeroy; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, 2006, at the Victory Baptist Church in Middleport with Rev. James Keesee officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery in Cheshire.

Friends may call on Saturday, April 15, from 6-9 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Home in Middleport.

Pallbearers will be Charles Smith, Kevin Smith, Chris Smith, Todd Smith, Robert Smith, Billy Jo Smith, David Lynch and Roger Manley.
