Lillian H. Buie, 73, died Wednesday at Bulloch Memorial Hospital after a short illness. The Bulloch County native had lived in Kentucky and Tennessee for several years. She lived in Brooklet for the past 12 years and was a homemaker and a member of Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother, Janie F. Howard, Brooklet; a sister, Pamela H. Turner, Jacksonville, Fla.; and a brother, Thomas F. Howard, Statesboro.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21 at Hodges-Turner Funeral Home with Elder Woodrow Beasley and Elder Shelton Mikell officiating. Burial will be in Brooklet City Cemetery.
