Husband of Chloe Godfrey Anderson.
It is possible Sare's given name, Cero Gordo Montrey, comes from the battles of Cerro Gordo and Monterrey. Children were often named for historical figures/places at that time. Since the battles took place during September 1846 and April 1847 and Sare was born the following July it is more than likely he was named for them. If Robert Anderson, Sare's father, was a soldier during the Mexican War it would explain why he is not listed with the family in census records and possibly be the connection to these battles.
