A graveside service for Cora Bell Amundsen, 93, 1905 W. Pierce St., will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Carlsbad Cemetery. The Rev. Dean McAlister of Fox and Walnut Church will officiate.
She was born May 30, 1893, in Dean, Iowa, and moved to Carlsbad with her family when she was young. She later moved to California where she made her home until moving back to Carlsbad in 1957 after her husband's retirement.
She had been a resident of Lakeview Christian Home for the past eight years.
She is survived by a sister, Sadie Tate, Delaware, Ohio; and two nephews, Roy L. Mitchell and Herbert Mitchell, both of Carlsbad.
