Well-Known Woman Dies Yesterday After Illness of Several Weeks.

Mrs. Cora B. Worth, wife of Mr. A. D. Worth, died yesterday morning after suffering several weeks with a complication of diseases. The funeral services will be conducted this morning from the late home, 6 West Third street, at 10 o'clock. Rev. Dr. T. F. Marr, pastor of Trinity Church, will officiate.

Mrs. Worth was Miss Cora B. McCall before her marriage and had spent all of her life in Charlotte. She was a Methodist and had been since her early childhood. She had a host of friends in the city and will be sadly missed by many neighbors who loved her for her womanly traits of character.

She leaves her husband and two daughters they being Miss Sadie of Guilford College, who arrived in the city last night, and Miss Elizabeth. She leaves two brothers, Messrs. W. M. Phifer and J. W. McCall, Mesdames E. J Biggers and M. M. Mellon of Charlotte, J. M. Cobb of Gastonia, John Mann and James Mann of Mecklenburg County. Interment will be in Elmwood, the pall-bearers being Messrs. T. D. Payne, H. G. Link, E. R. Booker, A. G. Craig, J. H. Little and D. M. Abernathy.
