Mrs Schuchman, widow of the late George N Schuchman, died at her home on West Pomfret street at 9 45 o'clock Monday night, of a general breaking down of the system. She had been in ill health for the past fifteen years, and since 1886 has been confined to her bed. On Saturday last she became weaker and since then was unable to speak. The funeral will be held at 3 o'clock on Friday afternoon. Interment in the old graveyard.
Mrs Schuchman in August last was 86 years old. At an early age she united with the Lutheran Church and has always been a consistent member. She was a kind neighbor and had many friends in this community. She leaves five children to mourn her loss, William, of Lincoln, Nebraska; John and George, of Carlisle; Miss Margaret, and Mrs Theodore Smith, of Carlisle.
