Woodbury, Peter P. — of Bedford, Hillsborough County, N.H. Member of New Hampshire state senate 3rd District, 1851-53. Dr. P. P. Woodbury came to Bedford in 1815; he was born in Francestown, N. H.

Additional Information: Dr. Peter P. Woodbury was born in Francestown August 8, 1791; studied medicine with Dr. Jonathan Gove of Goffstown; practiced medicine in Goffstown from January 9, 1815, to July 3, 1815, when he removed to Bedford, where he ever afterwards resided; he died there December 5, 1860. See "Bedford History," p. 448 and 1121. (Earliest practicing physicians in Goffstown, NH.)
