Mrs Eathel Baldwin
Mrs Eathel Gladys Baldwin of rural Mystic passed away 4 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 1975 at the St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital at the age of 83 years 1 month and 25 days.
She was born in Appanoose County, April 22, 1892, the daughter of John and Lillian Knapp Harris. On March 19, 1911 she was united in marriage to J.P (Dick) Baldwin. He preceded her in death Nov. 1 1973. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son Jack Baldwin, two sisters and one brother.
She was a member of the Walnut City Christian Church and Eastern Star of Mystic.
She is survived by two sons Gene of Seymour and Paul of rural Mystic, one daughter Mrs. Deloris Shephard of rural Mystic, a daughter-in-law Mrs. Jack Baldwin of Oskaloosa, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a half-sister Mrs. Emma Booth of Saginaw, Mich, and a step sister Mrs. Chleo Haines of Mystic.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2 00 p m from the Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Clifford Hart officiating, burial in the Elgin Cemetery near Mystic A memorial has been established to the Walnut City Christian Church.
Visitation hour Monday will be 7 00 to 8 00 p.m
