She was a member of the Baptist Church. She married Jack W. Hankins, Dec. 11, 1938, in Sweetwater. She had been a house parent for several children's homes in West Texas.
She is survived by her husband Jack Hankins, of Goldsmith; son, Gene Hankins of Cloudcroft; daughter, Nedra Morrell, of Goldsmith; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Mar. 1, at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. David Hankins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Odessa.
