Terrence was born June 2, 1942, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Dennie V. Donahue and Ella Hunter-Donahue of Mackay, Idaho.
He attended schools in Mackay, graduating in 1960. During high school he competed in football and basketball.
After high school he attended Boise Junior College (BJC). He was named Business Student of the Year in 1962. While attending BJC, he met Carol Jeane Baldwin of Meridian, Idaho. They were married July 20, 1963. They attended Idaho State University and graduated in 1964. Terrence graduated with honors with a bachelor of science in accounting.
After college graduation, they settled on the ranch on Barton Flat.
Debbie came along in 1966, followed by Shannon in 1968. Shawn was born in 1973 and Theresa in 1975.
Terrence was a member of the Copper Basin Cattle Association and was the secretary-treasurer for more than 30 years. He was also a member of the Custer County Livestock Marketing Association.
Terrence was a big bear with a teddy-bear heart where his family was concerned.
He is survived by his wife Carol; children Debbie (Walt) Johnson; Shannon (Todd) Higgins; Shawn (Meg) Donahue; Theresa (Jason) Nelson; seven grandchildren, Ella and Justin Johnson; Bryan and Kevin Higgins; Thomas Donahue; and Gage and Emma Nelson. He is also survived by his brother Dennie H. (Buddy) Donahue and a very large extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Kathleen Donahue and Betty Whitworth.
