Son of William T. Adams and Lucinda "Francis" Adams; m. Sophia J. Crosson, 25 August 1888, Dent County, Missouri

According to Ozark Heritage Volume III (Dent County cemetery records) Morrison Cemetery is where Henry Adams "Little Henry" husband of Sophia J. Treat (her half-siblings surname) is buried. This has also been corroborated by his daughter, Lula Adams Clayton's granddaughter, Betty (Abeyta) Dabe, who took a trip to Missouri with her grandparents when she was a teen and told me they went to visit the grave of Lula's father in Morrison Cemetery (even though his death certificate states he was buried in Adams Cemetery).

*Note--Henry's mother, Lucinda "Francis" and family came from Washington County, Kentucky, to Missouri, before her younger brother, William Morgan Adams was born in 1852. I find it highly unlikely that they would have left her behind in Kentucky at 10 or 11 years of age. Therefore, I strongly believe that she was never married to William Abney nor did she have a child by him. If there is someone that insists she was please have them provide clear proof.
