Mrs Martha E Haynes, wife of the late John Haynes, died yesterday at her home in Locust Grove, of apoplexy, after an illness of two weeks, aged 81 years, 9 months and 27 days. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Locust Grove for 60 years.
She is survived by the following sons; William, Harry M, Edward, Locust Grove; Henry, Hagerstown; daughters; Mrs John Willman and Mrs William Brooks, Locust Grove; sisters; Mrs Sophia Clipp, Mrs Rhuanna Wade, Trego; Mrs Clagett Boyer, Kemps Mill. Fifteen grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren survive.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon, leaving the house at 2 o'clock, with services in the Lutheran Church, Locust Grove by Rev Chapman, Rev Erdman, Rev Young and Rev Dr Scott R Wagner. Interment in cemetery adjoining.
