William H. Bennett
William H. BENNETT, 88, Highland, died Sunday, March 24. Mr. Bennett was a 60-year resident of Highland, with homes in Beaver Dam Lake, Akron, and St. Petersburg, Fla. He worked for Standard Oil in Aruba and retired from Inland Steel after 33 years of service. He was a member of the Inland 25 Year Club, 50-year member of the East Chicago Moose Lodge No. 1256, and member of Independent Order of Foresters.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha Marie (ENGLE) BENNETT two sons, William and wife Sandra BENNETT, Hammond; and Robert and wife Lanan BENNETT, Granger; six grandchildren, Lynn, William, James, John, Robert and Brooke [BENNETT]; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were at 10 a.m. today at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, Highland, with the Rev. Leroy FASSETT officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Akron.
