Allen Vinson Wright, the 6th child born to Upson Alexander Wright (1823-1899) and Kezziah K. Harris (1835-1921), on 18 November 1858, in Macon, GA.

Allen first married Lorena H. Perdue (1863-1894) in Upson County, Georgia on 20 April 1893 ; they had one baby boy, born in September, 1894, but the baby died within the week and his wife Lorena died also in September 1894 due to the childbirth.

Allen married again on 13 November 1901 to Julia Maud Ingraham (1887-1976). Together they had three children:
1) Jesse Edgar Wright (1902-1971);
2) Margaret "Margie" A. Wright (1906-?) and
3) Myron Eldridge Wright (1907-1917).

Allen Wright is my gg-granduncle, since he is the brother of my gg-grandfather, Silas Joshua Wright (1857-1943).

Allen Wright died on 15 September 1917 at the age of 58 in Macon, Georgia--a month after his 10-year-old son, Myon Eldridge Wright died-- during the influenza epidemic, and was brought back by his brother Dr. Jesse E. Wright to be buried in Plant City, Florida where he spent most of his life as a farmer.
