Delilah Smith Hudson was the daughter of Joshua Hudson and (unknown).

She married John Wesley Northern, son of Jeremiah Northern and Susannah E. ("Susan") Willett, on May 27, 1858, in Doniphan County, Kansas; they were married until his death. John was born ca 1827 in Kentucky and died ca 1870 in Doniphan County. The couple had three children, namely:

George W. Northern (1859-after June 1, 1870),
Susan Isabelle ("Belle") (Northern) [Moore] Mascho (1866-1943), and
Albert Benjamin Northern (1869-1937).

Delilah, a widow with three young children, married the widower Alexander Houston ("A. H.") McKee, son of James Wallace McKee and Isabel Fulton, ca 1871; the marriage ended between 1905 and 1910. Delilah and Alexander had four children together, namely:

Lillie F. (McKee) Stouder (1871-1898),
John W. McKee (1874-1918),
Elvin Ellsworth McKee (1877-1946), and
Samuel F. McKee (1882-1895).

"McKee: Mrs. Delilah S. McKee, aged 80 years, widow, died at the Lon Messner farm east of Arkansas City, Monday evening at 5:15 o'clock. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon with interment in the Newkirk cemetery."

1870, White Cloud, Doniphan County, Kansas, as Delilah Northam [sic-Northern];
1875, Brown County, Kansas, as D. S. McKee;
1880, Robinson, Brown County, Kansas, as Deila S. McKee;
1885, Robinson, Brown County, Kansas, as Dahla S. McKee;
1895, not on Kansas State Census; likely in Kay County, Oklahoma;
1900, Newkirk, Kay County, Oklahoma, as Deliah S. McKee; and
1910, Pleasant Valley, Cowley County, Kansas, as Dillia S. McKee.

On the 1910 Census, both Delilah and Alexander lived with their son, Elvin E. McKee. Elvin was listed as single, and each parent was listed as divorced.

A. H. McKee purchased Block G, Lot 60, Graves 1 through 6; the date of purchase is unknown. Samuel is in Grave 1, Delilah is in Grave 2, Lillie is in Grave 3, and Elvin is in Grave 6. Graves 4 and 5 are occupied, but the cemetery does not have a record of who was buried in those two graves.
