Deacon George W. Anderson Sr., 75, of Charlottesville, entered into eternal rest Monday, November 22, 2010, at a local health care center.
He was the son of the late Walter and Alice Turner Anderson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Frank Anderson.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted family, his spouse, Elizabeth Anderson of Charlottesville; four sons, Deacon James Booker and his wife, Dallas, and George Anderson Jr., both of Charlottesville, David F. Anderson of Richmond and Gabriel P. Anderson of Charlottesville; two daughters, Roxcia Keyes and her husband, Lawrence, of Charlottesville, and Alice E. Anderson of Richmond; one brother, Oscar Anderson of Esmont; and one sister, Cora Booker of Buckingham, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at Mourning Valley Baptist Church, with the Reverend Ellis Hill officiating.
Interment at the church cemetery.
