J.Pat Cooper, 75 years of age, died on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at Elmore City, Okla. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 1:30 o'clock from the Burgess chapel with Rev. Raymond Quick of Elmore City officiating. Burial was in Glendale Cemetery(Lindale).
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Glen Pribble of Montague; two sons, A.C. Cooper of Bowie; four sisters, Mrs. Elma(Alma) Prater, Mrs. B.C. Harris and Miss Becky Cooper of Bowie, and Mrs. W.B. Pollard of Elmore City, Okla.;six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased.

James Chatman Cooper was born Oct. 26, 1879 at Denton and died Feb. 21, 1955 at the home of his sister, Mrs. W.B. Pollard, in Elmore City, Okla.
Mr. Cooper was a resident of Montague county from childhood and moved to Healdton, Okla., in 1919. From there he moved to Bristow, Okla., and remained there until August, 1952. At the time of his death he was living with Mrs. Pollard.
He was united in matrimony to Miss Maude Bryant in the year 1905. She preceded him in death in 1918. To this union three children were born, one daughter and two sons; Mrs. Glen Pribble of Montague; Arter Edward of Saginaw and Norvel Otto of Bowie.
Funeral services were held on Feb. 23rd in Burgess Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Quick, a Baptist preacher f Wetunka, Okla., officiating. Interment was in Lindale Cemetery.
Other than his three children, he is survived by six grandchildren; one brother, R.C. Cooper, Fort Worth; four sisters, Mrs. Zelma Prater, Mrs. Bob Harris and Miss Becky Cooper, all of Bowie; Mrs. W. B. Pollard, Elmore City, Okla.; a host of nieces and nephews, Mrs. Edd Gallia of Bowie being a niece.
Pallbearers were John L. and William A. Prater, Healdton, Okla.;Paul Gallia and C.O. Stom, Jr.; Earl Pollard, Delhi, La.; Eugene Pollard, Elmore City, Okla.
Out-of-town friends and relatives attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pollard and Kay, Delhi, La.; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Pollard, Gary and Glenna, Elmore City, Okla.; Rev. and Mrs. Raymond Quick; William Prater, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Prater, Mrs. Frances Wood, Mrs. Mollie Harris, Mrs. L.F. Lamkin, Mrs. June Wood, Mrs. Lee Roy Brown, all of Healdton, Okla.; Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Cooper and Rickey, Saginaw; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Pribble, Montague; Mrs. Bobby McMahon and children, Mrs. Marvin Harris, Mrs. Eddie Pattrick and son, Mrs. Fannie Thompson, Mrs. Lelia Cox, all of Fort Worth; and Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Pollard, Elmore City, Okla.
