Don graduated from Hastings Senior High School in 1955 and married Gwendolyn ‘Peach' Albers on July 13, 1956. She preceded him in death April 25, 1984. He was owner and operator of a floor installation company. On August 11, 1995, he married Jo (Andrews) Michel. He was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Elks Meadowbrook Golf. He was a life long Hastings resident.
Don was preceded in death by his parents and 1st wife, Gwendolyn ‘Peach' Maul.
