SUN CITY -- Betty L. Dyke, 77, died May 27, 2004, at Hospice House, Pratt.

Funeral service was Tuesday at Sun City Baptist Church, with Pastor Jeff Woods presiding. Burial was at Sunnyside Cemetery, Sun City.

She was born April 6, 1927, at Rio Hondo, Texas, the daughter of Walter N. and Laura V. Sutton Barker. A Sun City resident since 1952, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Sun City Baptist Church and V.F.W. Auxiliary.

On Nov. 23, 1945, she married Don H. Dyke at Woodward, Okla. He died Feb. 7, 1993.

Survivors include: two sons, Gary Dyke and wife Toni, Medicine Lodge, and Rick Dyke and friend Andra Taylor, Waynoka, Okla.; a daughter, Sandy Myers and husband Jean, Sun City; five grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, and a great-grandchild.

Memorials may be sent to South Wind Hospice or Sun City Baptist Church, both in care of Ayres-Calbeck Mortuary.
