Jeanene Faye Anderson Arduini Retherford, 51, of Rock Falls, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at CGH Medical Center.
She was born April 17, 1959, in Sterling, the daughter of Harry A. and Doris L. (Crossley) Anderson. She married Larry Retherford on Dec. 20, 2008. Jeanene was employed for several years as a secretary for State Farm agent Frank Angone in Sterling, and was currently working as a dispatcher/secretary for Cobaine Air Freight, Rock Falls. She enjoyed playing the organ, teaching organ, karaoke singing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Larry; one son, Asron Arduini of Rock Falls; two stepdaughters, Casey (Brian) Anderson of Rock Falls and Tami (Derrick Craig) Retherford of Sterling; one brother, Marvin Anderson of St. Louis; and two grandchildren, Haleigh Jeanene Arjuini and Shandez Kaurice Retherford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Florence Elaine Stoudt.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls. Burial will be at Coloma Township Cemetery, Rock Falls. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
