One of the respected and loved women of the Sharpsville community was taken by death when Mrs. Amos Brookbank, age 75, died suddenly Sunday morning at her home in Sharpsville. Heart trouble was the cause of her death. Mrs. Brookbank was one of seven children born to Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Goodwin in Barthelomew county. She was born on Feb. 16, 1865. She married on Oct. 21, 1900 to Amos Brookbank and became a real mother to his two children, Gail and Guy Brookbank. There were no other children.
