Alvie Russell Fleagle, 6O, husband of Mrs. Catherine Bowers Fleagle, New Windsor, died at his home Monday, July 25, 1955, after an extended illness. Born February 19, 1895 in Carroll County, he was a son of the late Obediah and Anna Rowe Fleagle, He was a member of Winter's Lutheran Church, near New Windsor. Mr. Fleagle was employed as a machinist at the Congoleum Nairn, Cedarhurst. Surviving besides his widow are one daughter, Mrs. Dennis Coale, Owings Mills, and a son, William R. Fleagle, New Windsor, and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 10:30 a. m. at the New Windsor funeral home of D. D. Hartzler and Sons. The Rev. Donald Warrenfeltz, his pastor officiated. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery at Uniontown.
