Mrs. Dolly Mae Zimmerman, 66, of 2399 Glover Drive, Mount Airy, died Tuesday, March 23, at University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore.
Born May 4, 1932, in Feagaville, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Whittington Baugher Sr.
Mrs. Zimmerman had formerly been employed by People's Drug Store in downtown Frederick and at the Frederick Towne Mall. She retired several years ago as cashier at the 7-Eleven Store, Libertytown.
Surviving are one daughter, Donna J. Cowan of Mount Airy; two brothers, Lutz Baugher and wife Carline of Frederick, and Biggs Baugher of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; three sisters, Sis Schmidt and husband John, Alice Jones and husband Nelson, and Mary Helen Mills, all of Frederick; three grandchildren, Ronnie G. and Ben M. Cowan, both of Mount Airy, and Samantha Cowan of Walkersville; one great-granddaughter, Shannon M. Cowan of Mount Airy; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Zimmerman will also be remembered by her granddaughter's fiance, James Jack of Walkersville.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 25, at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, where funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, March 26. The Rev. Charles G. Beekley will officiate.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
