Josephine Alderson Partin, 76, of Strayhorn, died Friday, August 15 in Horn Lake. Mrs. Partain was a homemaker and a member of Strayhorn Baptist Church. Services were Sunday, August 17 at C.O. Pate Funeral Home in Senatobia with interment in Bethesda Cemetery in Senatobia. Pallbearers were Jeff Belcher, Will Grace, Hooker Blend, Ray Suddoth, Richard Alderson, and Marion Wells. Honarary pallbearers were Bobby Montgomery and Joh Craig. Billy Shelby officiated.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Frank D. Alderson and Ray Partain. She is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Alderson Erwin of Horn Lake; one son, Gerald T. Alderson of Strayhorn; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
