Alice was a graduate of the Class of 1984, of the Williamsport Area High School. She was also a graduate of the class of 1986, of the former Williamsport Area Community College, now Pennsylvania College of Technology. She was awarded an associate's degree in Medical Secretarial Science.
Alice had been employed as a medical transcriptionist and secretary at the Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center campus of Susquehanna Health Systems. She had previously been employed for 10 years at Magnetic Imaging in Mechanicsburg, Pa., also as a medical transcriptionist and secretary.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Canton.
Alice enjoyed working at sand art and tri-chem embroidery. She was fond of animals and loved cats.
Born May 26, 1966, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Elmer O. Jr. and Lynette J. Ritter Laudenslager.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Lynette J. Laudenslager of Williamsport; her brother, Elmer O. Laudenslager III of Lewisville, N.C.; and her very special friend, Edwina Murphy of Canton. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her late father, Elmer O. Laudenslager, Jr., on Jan. 1, 1969.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport. Her pastor, the Rev. Norman C. Pierce, will officiate. Interment will be at the Muncy Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
