He married twice m1 Eliza C. Kelm in Breckenridge Co, Kentucky on 8 April 1844 and m2 Lucinda (Guillam or Gillum or Gilliam) Cunningham in Meade Co, Kentucky on 29 Octobe 1846. Lucinda was a widow. Perry was a farmer and served in the Mexican War, probably with the 4th Regt. Ky Foot Volunteers.
