Alvin Brainerd Dies At Age of 83
BOSCOBEL, Wis. - Alvin E Brainerd, 83, lifetime resident of Boscobel and former businessman here, died Monday in a nursing home in Madison.
Mr. Brainerd served on the Grant county board for many years. He is survived by three sons, Nehemia, Lodi; Clarence, Madison; Clifford. Janesville; six grandchildren. His wife, the former Elizabeth Rider, died in May, 1944. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. in the Thoni-Godager funeral home, with the Rev. W. J. Calow of the Boscobel Congregational church officiating.
