Charles David Monslow, 57, of Cave Junction Ore went to be with our Lord and Savior on 22 Nov 2010 due to melanoma.

Born to David Monslow and Zerlene Delores Phillips in Portland Ore on 4 Nov 1953, he was the eldest of three children.

Chuck attended Hillsboro High School and served in the United States Navy from 1971 -1977.

Throughout his life he held various jobs, the most recent of which was truck driving until he became ill. Chuck was active throughout his life enjoying karate, boxing, and exercising. Other interests were Elvis, classic cars, coins and NASCAR. Chuck grew up in Washington and Oregon before moving to Kansas in 1985. In 2003 he moved to Cave Junction, Ore. He was a member of St. Patrick's of the Forrest Catholic Church.

Chuck is survived by his father;two brothers; three nieces and nephews; several cousins and friends; and his companion and her children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Zerlene, in July 2004.

Viewing and Rosary will be at Illinois Valley Funeral Home Chapel on 4 Dec from 10 AM to 12 PM. Mass is at 1 PM at St. Patrick's of the Forest Catholic Church. Interment will be Friday 5 Dec at Eagle Point National Cemetery in Medford.
