Norman Stewart

Norman Stewart, 74, Columbus, died October 22, 1999 at his residence following an extended illness. Born February 6, 1925 in Meigs County the son of the late Roma and Belva Stewart.

He was a retired Pipe Fitter for the New York Central Railroad. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a 50 year member of Middleport Masonic Lodge 363.

Survived by his wife, Wilma Jean Werner Stewart of Columbus; two daughters and sons-in-law, Norma and David Leffler, and Barbara and Bob McGilvary, all of Columbus; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Stephen Stewart of Columbus, and Brian and Kim Stewart of Cumberland, VA; eight grand-children; eight great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Enzo Barsotti of Fresno, CA.

Preceded in death by parents; two brothers Robert and Marvin; sister Marjorie Stewart.

Services will be Monday 11:00 a.m. at Fisher Funeral Home in Middleport. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery in Cheshire.

Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Masonic service conducted by Lodge 363 will be 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
