young boys and girls and an invalid husband. During her last few hours she gathered her family about her, expressed
her faith in God and told them she was prepared to face her
Maker. She exacted a promise from her sorrowing husband to continue the instruction!of the children as she had started them in a true Christian life. Her only regret that she must
go, she said, was that she had to leave her family, the pride of her heart. Death came silently, and she passed into the beyond without the least worry or expression of fear and without a questioning look. She knew she was passing to her reward. The death of Mrs. Adams is regretted sincerely by all Sharpsville and the community. The people there realize what the loss of this good mother means to the family. The husband has been ill for, two years with high blood pressure, and has
been unable to earn a livelihood and the children are all young. There are six, Lewis C., age 17, a senior in the Sharpsville high school; Mary, age 14; Paul, age 13, Wilma. age 11; John, age 8, and Francis, age 5.
Mrs. Adams was born in Boone county on Sept. 25, 1884. Her parents were Lewis E. and Emma (Cox) Huckstep. A son died in infancy and a daughter is married, Mrs. Ina Hunt of Kokomo.
