Jeremiah Park Stannard, one of Springville's most highly respected residents, passed away at the home of his son, Gus Stannard, Sunday morning.
He was born in Springville and had lived here the greater part of his life. He was aged 70 years, 7 months and 3 days at the time of his death. His parents were Ned and Mary Jane Helmer Stannard. He was united in marriage to Miss Cynthia Tincher, who passed away a number of years ago. Surviving are the son, Gus; two grandchildren and two brothers, Charles and Frank Stannard of Springville.
One daughter, Mrs. Alice Carmichael, also preceded him in death.
Burial will be in Springville Methodist Cemetery.
