Sudden Death.
Mrs. Jane Owen, wife of Wm. C. Owen, Esq., of this place, died suddenly last Saturday morning. She retired in usual health Friday night. Mr. Owen arose about daylight without noticing anything wrong. A daughter entering the room a short time after to notify her mother that breakfast was ready, found her in the bed dead. The body was still warm, and life had evidently departed a few moments before. Mrs. Owen had been subject to what is termed "heart disease," and to all appearance her death was instantaneous and without a struggle. She was aged about 50 years, and was esteemed by all her friends and acquaintances.

DIED, in the vicinity of Athens, on Sunday evening, Mrs. Fannie Reed, aged about 78 years. Deceased was the mother of Mrs. Owen, whose sudden death is noticed above.
