Funeral services were held at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon for T.H. Irwin, 62, who for over 40 years was well known as a minister in Eastern Henderson County. At the time of his death in Tyler at 11:05 Friday morning he was Pastor of the Baptist Churches in Murchison and Brownsboro in the county in addition to two pastorates in Smith County.

He established the Murchison Church many years ago and had served continually as it's Pastor. He also had formerly served as Pastor of the Baptist Church in the Leagueville Community in this county.

Interment was in the Midway Cemetery, Smith County.

He was survived by his widow; one son, Troy Irwin of Tyler; one daughter Mrs. Grace Tomberlain of Tyler; one brother, J.R. Irwin of Tyler and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Armstrong and Mrs. Lula Armstrong, both of Henderson.
